This game traded hands a few years ago and was put to the backburner by the new
holder, claiming it wasn't a top priority. However, it's finally come to fruition and,
in my opinion, fallen a little... flat. But that's another story for another day!
I love this advertisement so much because it starts with this sense of "Wait.. what's going on?" and it's SO dramatic as you go backwards in time and gain more and more understanding of what's actually happening and the relation of the three non-infected... Well I guess the child doesn't count anymore..
It's just so well put together because it appeals to the generation. It's very well detailed in its cinematics, there's the gore that seems so important these days, it takes after the already popular Left 4 Dead, and the advertisement just comes across as a movie almost and throws you into this amazing world you wanna explore.
This is Ismyth. A character I started concepts on almost a year ago now. She's still a rough design, but I haven't had any time to refine her completely. I AM working on it though heh heh heh.
Anyway, I was looking for some possible feedback. Just wondering what people think of the idea. I'm going to use her as a guardian of the forest in a story my friend and I are collaborating on for WattPad
I found this picture while I was exploring the Tumblr of an artist I follow.
It didn't come with any description of the photo just a comment: "I want to poke it."
It got me thinking though of how poor our senses are. I mean, humans are only so advanced because of their intelligence. Think about it.. What defenses do we have? Sharp teeth or claws? Armoured skin or scales? Speed?
Then simply compare our pets. They have teeth and claws and see the world through a different set of senses. Eye sight that functions on minimal light, hyper hearing and amazing senses of smell that, especially for those of us with seasonal allergies, will never be able to compare to.
I mean, scientists say cats and dogs are colour blind. Who's to say they just see colours we can't?
My name is Morgan, I'm a freshman in community college, and to be honest I'm not a fan of blogging. I'm not really a fan of Facebook either, but it's the only way I can ever keep in contact with my friends.
